Show Ccinnonville News Notes VIOLET RAE HUGHES i The Dennis Jenson and Cat Burrows families were weekend visitors at the Sherman Davis home. The Davis' took a trip to Montana to visit their son Sherrill and family. Gloria Dunham spent a day in Cedar City; the Arial Fletchers went there to a doctor. The Ira Elmers are moving to live for a while in Ogden. Doug Twitchell received his mission call to Washington State, he leaves May 6th. Don Heaps, Seminary teacher from Escalante, and five students had the program in church Sunday. The Gerald Stocks have a new trailer house. Kathern Stokes is staying at the Don Mangums. Clifford and Collett visited In town over the weekend. Ben Mathews went to Hurricane for the rodeo, he placed 4th and Sth In his events. Rose Palmer, Chad and Joan Shakespear visited the Joe Hughes and John Palmer. Marion Littlefield is here visiting his family at the Hughes home. The Bob Evans family visited the Irving Johnsons. Melvin Dutton family and the Kendell Duttons went to Spring City. Wayne Pollock and friend visited in town over the week end. Charlotte Henderson visited in Escalante with friends for the weekend.- The Merwin Dunham family went to St. George and brought his mother Alice Dunham home. A lot of local people attended conference in Escalante. Birthdays the last two weeks were Austin Littlefield and Roy Willis, this week Romo-na Fletcher, Clifford Mathews. Visitors at the Marion Clark home were son Marion and family from Page, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Lushman of Wellsville. Ada Thompson went to Salt Lake for the marriage of her sister Inez. Inez and her husband Ivan visited at the Thompsons. Other visitors were Tom and Ann Reece and family of Las Vegas, Guy and Beverly Thompson of Salt Lake. The George Thompson family and Virginia Smith spent Saturday In Cedar City for medical attention. The Clele Fletchers have a new grandson born to Anna-belle and Ted Palmer of Hawthorne, Nevada on April 21st. Other grandparents are Eld-on Palmer and Gloria Hayden, great grandmothers Virginia Smith and Rachel Thompson, great grandfather John Palmer. |
