Show Henrieville News Items MELBA D. SMITH Milton and Brenda Rose and son of Logan visited the Dave Roses over the weekend. On Thursday Ruby Moore and Melba Smith went to Escalante on business. They visited with Ethel Griffin, Flora Lelbenguth, Marie Porter and twe children, and Leda Pratt. James Munson Is building a porch for Ruby to the back of a her trailer house. George Thompson came Thursday to help put the insulation in. In Relief Society Wednesday, the ladies quilted on a quilt for Verda Craig. Edith Barker and Rae Smith served a cherry dessert to the ladies. Jimmle Smith and EIRoy Pinto were ordained to the of-flee of a Priest on Sunday. The speakers in Sacrament meeting were Elmo Bushnell and Bemlce Goulding, Shauna Quilter and Peggy Rose sang a song. Stake visitors at meeting were President LoRell Munson, Berlin Osborn, Dale Marsh and Doyle Cottam. A Stake High Council meeting was held after, then the Stake MIA held their meeting. Rodney Barker visited overnight Friday at the Amon Barker home. Thora Goulding of Orem spent from Tuesday to Thursday at the home of her mother Zella Willis. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Goulding have had their little daughter Sheila in the Primary Children's Hospital at Salt Lake for the past week. She is in traction before having surgery on the 17th. Steven and son Troy and grandmother Elsie Ott went up on Sunday. Dave and Kathryn Pollock and sons visited the Kenneth Gouldlngs over the weekend and attended the Jr. Prom. Bryan and Mary Johnson of Washington visited Sunday at Sacrament meeting and with relatives and friends here. The only one we know of having a birthday this week Is Ben Lee Smith. Evelyn and Grayson Parry and tiny son visited Sunday at the Harry Partner home and attended Sacrament meeting. Leland and Berthene Griffin attended the Golden Wedding celebration at Panguitch for Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Roe on Saturday. Virginia Smith is home from a trip to Reno after visiting her daughter Gloria, and in Salt Lake with Guy and Be Thompson and Sue Thompson until after the Wlnberg wedding. Dar Smith, wife Helen and younger children of St. George were also here for the open house. |
