Mr. and Mrs. Charley Wintch are" visiting their daughter Mary Wells and family in Bell-vue, Washington. Larry Adair and family are spending this week with the Arnold Adairs. The Bryce Valley Seminary took a program to Escalante on Sunday. Sharron Kay Wintch, Sher-rie and Lisa LeFevre, April Clark, Kathy and Tamara Ott, Debra Mecham, Elna and Es- ther Shakespear Robyn and Sandrea Francisco, Karleen Sy-rett, Michelle Foster, Wynonna Whitney received Individual A-chlevement awards Sunday. The membership for Kay Davis Mangum was received in the ward. Ruth Baugh and DIann Walker were released as Primary counselors, Darlene Lynch ami Connie Campbell as teachers. Gloria Chynoweth and Darlene were sustained as counselors, Roberta Schadl and Genevieve LeFevre as teachers. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Shakes-pear visited the Otto Stewarts, Will Shakespeare and LaVar Munsons in St. George, and went fishing on Lake Powell. The Roy Shakespears visited in Kanab Saturday with her sister on her birthday. The Mac LeFevres visited Maud Hall, the Norm Little-fields and the E. R. Shakes-pears on Saturday. " The Ceramics Club met Wednesday and elected new officers: Verlyn Munson, president, Mary LeFevre vice president, and LaDora Baugh secretary. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mangum and Judy Chynoweth were in Cedar City on business. Eva Pollock and June Shake spear were In Salt Lake this week while Eva attended a census school and June visited daughter Mavis and family. The program in Sacrament meeting Sunday was presented bv the Keith Whitney family. Genevieve LeFevre played a Thanksgiving organ solo. Rickey Bybee was ordained a Priest. Michael Davis was graduated from Primary, presented Duty to God Trail award, and ordained a deacon. Having birthdays this week were Ellis Allen. Dorma Barton and Amelia Mecham. |
