Show Henrieville News Items MELBA D. SMITH Elder S. Merrill Willis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Marvin Willis, and grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sears Merrill Willis and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Dutton, serving in the Cumor-ah Mission at Palmyra, N . Y., is to take part as trumpeter in the Hill Cumorah Pageant. John and Amy Clarke and daughter Lanora of Hawthorne, Nevada, Beth Pollock and children, Boyd and Opal Alvey and son visited at the Lee Smiths. Thelma Smith and children visited Saturday in Escalante at the Hode Alvey home. The Smiths are sporting a new car to them. The Primary officers were in charge of the 24th celebration in Henrieville. There was a parade, program, children's races, and a food sale. Several from here attended the rodeos at Panguitch, Tropic and Escalante. Lula Moore and Roxie Chy-noweth visited with Jerry and Bonnie Mecham at Tropic, after his surgery at Salt Lake. Glade Willis and children of Mesa, Arizona visited his mother Zella Willis and other relatives over the weekend. Melba, Eddie and Jimmle Smith spent Saturday at Panguitch where they visited relatives: Mildred Deuel, Virginia Neagle and children and Terri McAllister of Salt Lake, Lee and Iris Deuel of Spring Lake, Herbert Worthen, George and Dorothy Itowley of Parowan, Frank, Mary and Karen Worthen of Price. Layton and Melba Smith received word Sunday of the arrival of a granddaughter born to Christine and Rett Shakes-pear of Washington. Kenny and Stephanie are anxiously waiting the baby's arrival at home; JoAnn Smith is there with the Shakcspears. The R. Shakespears of Tropic aro the other grandparents, with Mildred Deuel and Maude Hall the great grandmothers. Wade, Mary and Paula Chy-noweth went to Ogden for the 24th weekend. Mrs. Elizabeth Baugh received word of the arrival of a great grandson born to granddaughter Sheryl and Lyle Love-land of Ogden. Visiting Mrs. Baugh were Mr. and Mrs. Dee Imlay of Tremonton and Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Imlay of Ogden. Leland Griffin went to Salt Lake with a group of Escalante men for a meeting; Monday he attended the County Commissioners meeting at Panguitch. .
