Show Tropic Topics BY ELLA ADADt Mr. and Mrs. James Munson, Joan Munson, Gordon Topham, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Chlarson and Royce Pollock attended the wedding of Mark Munson and PatU Llndley In the Mesa IDS Temple Wednesday. Several out of town people attended the golden wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Owen Shakespear in Tropic Saturday night. Among the guests were the Will Shakespeare of Hurricane. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shakespear from California, Owen's Sister Zetla Hatch. Their children, Roberta, Merna, LaJuana and Deloy and their families were also here for the reception. Utah SUte Representative Cal Black was the guest speaker at PTA Friday Night The Clark Walkers were in Salt Lake City over the week end with their small daughter who was having a medical check-up at the Primary Hospital The Leon Stewart family spent the week-end with the Reginald Stewarts. Leon is doing his student teaching In Richfield. The Sherrill Lambs have a new baby boy. A Temple excursion for the Ward will be held November 30th and December 1st. Lisa LeFevre has been released as Jr. Sunday School organist and Jeannene Ramsay sustained In her place. Scott Barton, Lane LeFevre, Steve Mecham, Dale Pot lock, Ricky Bybee, Lyle J. Le Fevre, Keven Bybee, Kim Ott, Kim Alvey, Royce Pollock, Brant Barton and Aaron Bybee received special priesthood awards Sunday. A mistake was made in last week's news; Rachel Ahlstrom represented the MIA at Ward conference not Rachel Thompson.. Evan Chynowth and his family presented the program in church Sunday. Talks were by Evan, Judy, Christina and Scott The children and Kelly Nielsen also sang a song. Gorena Robinson visited one afternoon this week with her daughter Ruth Baugh. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Brink-erhoff were In Tropic for the weekend. Val Shakespear will give his mission' report In church next Sunday. The Richard Mechams had their daughters Amelia and Genevieve and their families home for dinner Sunday. |
