Show Committees leagued, Schedules Set For Big 24th Celebration Commutes have been named and schedules set to make this year's 24th of July and Homecoming Days celebration bigger and better than ever. Committee assignments arc as follows: Parade committe, 70 Quorums, James Boucher, chairman, Norman McGee, co-chairman. Float committee: North ward High Priest Quorum, II. Frank Orton, chairman. Medical committee: Dr. Carl Lusty chairman. General committee: Dan Tebbs, chairman; LcGrande Farns-worth, Finance chairman; Tor-la Boucher, secretary Bishop Laurel Holman and Bishop Kendall Brinkcrhoff, members. COMMITTEES Advertising, Wayne Holman, chairman. Rodeo, Carl Yardley, chairman. Ticket: North and South ward bishoprics. Stock and Grounds: South ward High Priest, Joseph C. Foy, chairman. Rodeo Queen: Elizabeth Yardley, chairman. Concessions: North ward 1st Quorum Elders, Steve Hatch, chairman; South ward 3rd Quorum Elders, Dr. W. G. Lee, co-chairman. Chuck Wagon Dinner: 2nd Quorum Elders, Denny Linford, chairman. Dance: ,YM MIA, Grant Houston, chairman. 24th of July Program: D.U.P., V e r d a Oldham, chairman. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: July 20 and 21, Friday and Saturday: Rodeo by Young and Young at Rodeo Grounds, under the lights, at 8:30 p.m. JULY 24 Parade at 9:30 a.m. Beginning at High Schoool, up Center St. and down Main St. Program; 11 a.m., North ward chapel. Chuck Wagon Dinner: 12 noon, North ward ($2.00 for adults 12 and over $1.00 under 12). Foot Races: 2 p.m. Ball Game: 4 p.m. Dance: Social Hall, 10 p.m. ($2.00 couple, $1.00 single). |
