Show BPW SOUTHERN DISTRICT CONFERENCE HELD The Southern District BPW Spring Conference was held on April 14 at the Flying M Restaurant, with 54 members, guests and state officers In attendance. State officers were Alene Hansen, president, Arlct ta Eldon, 1st v. p.; Mildred Ri-chey, 2nd v. p.; Kathryn Tut. nam, recording secretary; Madeleine Parker, treasurer; He len Dahle, past president. Hostesses werc officcrs of the Southern district clubs: Edra Miller, June Owens and Lyle Miller. Ingra Richards decorated the tables with attractive Easter decorations. Connio Falls, Beaver, wa3 chosen as Young Career Woman to represent the South-em district at the state convention in May at Logan; Jennifer Whitby, Cedar City, was named alternate. "Club Women of the Year were Annabell Hales, Beaver; Ingra Richards, Panguitch; LaRue Bagley, R chfleld. District officers installed for the coming year are Ncola Brown, director; Elizabeth Dos-nlp, vice director; Betty Ann Brown, sec-treas. Music for the program was furnished by Laurie Holman, Jalene Crosby, Rebecca Dodds, Kathy Rlggs, Carolyn Foy and Nancy Barney; they were accompanied by Janet Johnson. |
