Show Ruth Asay Tebbs Buried At Panguitch Ruth Asay Tcbbs, 88, died In a Salt Lake hospital Dec. 19 of natural causes. She was born In Springville, Apache Co., Arizona June 15, 1884. She married Fielding Burncs Tebbs on Oct. 28, 1901. Their marriago was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He died In 1950. Mrs. Tebbs was very active In the LDS church, serving as president of the Relief Society, president of the MIA and in the presidency of Panguitch Stake Primary, as well as other church callings. She served as president of the Powell Wool Growers Assn Auxiliary, president of tho Cornelia Camp of the DUP, and was active in civic, agricultural and business affairs of the southern part of the state. In 1957 she was chosen Mother of the Year from the So. Utah District In 1968 she received the Outstanding Citizen award for Panguitch City. Survivors: daughters, sons, Mrs Donald A. (Addle) Metier, Mrs Veloy II. (Ruth) Butter-field, Salt Lake City; Daniel A. and D. Ray Tebbs, Panguitch; 22 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Dec. 23 in the Panguitch North ward chapel.
