Show NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE National Forest Timber Sale, Dixie National Forest, Badger Creek Sale, located within 137 S, IU and 4HW, Salt Lake Base & Meridian. Sealed bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor or his authorized representative, Forest Service Building, Cedar City, Utah 84720, at 11:00 a.m. local time at the place of bid opening on December 29, 1972, to be followed Immediately by oral bidding, for an estimated 1080 M board feet of ponderosa pine, 320 M board feet of Douglas-fir, 130 M board feet of white fir and 180 M board feet of Engelman spruce timber marked for cutting. The minimum acceptable bid for each species follows: Pondorosa pine, $40.03; Douglas-fir, $34.56; white fir, $19.85; Engelman spruce, $45.69, per M board feet Additional required slash disposal is $13.34 per M board feet. The required bid guarantee is $6,600.00. Applicable pur-chaser road credits are $8,403.- 00. The bid rates will be subject to adjustment during the period of sale as provided for by the quarterly adjustment provisions of the timber sale contract. In addition, there is within the sale area an unesti-mated volume of older dead (unsound sapwood) timber which will be paid for at a flat rate of $1.00 per M board feet. All included timber shall be given domestic processing. Bid- ! dcrs are advised that violation of the domestic processing requirements constitutes breach of contract and may result in contract cancellation or in refusal to award timber sales to the violators, or debarment or suspension from bidding on future Umber sales. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
