Show Hotch Happenings : BY RBVA LOWDER Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs visited In Granger for the holidays with the Leslie Footcs and the Duard Rlggs. The Sam Evans spent Than ksgivlng at Las Vegas with the Kirk and Gary Evans families. Sunday they visited the John Mechams In Tropic. Ralph Wilcock stayed overnight Wednesday In Kanab with his sisters, the Gale Wil-cocks and Dayne Joined them Thursday for dinner with the David Christians and the Nor. man Hendersons who visited here during the week. Other visitors were the Lamond Davis and Hal Wilcocks of Panguitch and the Garn Wilcocks of Kanab. Mike Evans spent two days with the Christians. Dr. and Mrs. Cloyd Mccham of Ephralm visited in town. The Nile Sawyers went to Salt Lake Friday where he received treatment at the Veterans hosplal; their son Ricky of Cedar spent the holidays with them. The Allen and the Lowell Huntlngtons of Kanab. the Mac Ray Julanders of Panguitch, Stanley Huntlngtons of Cedar were holiday dinner guests at the Wiley Huntington home. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Evans and daughter Ktmberlce and Elo-le Curley visited for the holidays at Salt Lake with the Edward Llddells and in Kearns at the Don Munsons. Eloise's fa- 1 mlly members visited the Evans and the Calvin Wilsons last week. Also visiting the Wilsons were Curtis Wilson, Provo, and the Wilford Lanes and family. A family holiday dinner was held at the Ivor Rlggs home for his mother Mrs. J.E. Riggs. Attending with family members were the Starns Mechams of Escalante, the Malen Mechams and Viva Mecham of Tropic, the Kay Browns of Orem, the Wallace Heaps of Cedar, Dale Porter and Gall Wilson of Provo. Word was received Saturday of a baby girl born in Kanab to Vay and Velta Sawyer, she has three sisters who were staying her at the home of grandparents, the Arnold Sawyers. The other grandparents, the Karl Lowders, also Laretta and Mary Beth Lowder and Karlet-ta Riggs visited them Saturday at the hospital in Kanab. Saturday the Sawyers and grandchildren visited in Richfield, Sunday they took the children and Mary Beth to Kanab, Mary Beth will stay there awhile. The great grandparents of the new baby are the Oliver Huntlngtons. Visiting the Lowders were Karleta Riggs, Janet and Michael Houston, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Dbc, Roberta and Casey. The Huntlngtons spent Thanksgiving at Dixie with the Art Nordells and the Garn Huntlngtons. The Kenneth Barnhursts of Provo and Daryl of Cedar spent the holiday at the Eric Barn-hurst home. Visitors at the O. H. Barnhursts were Laura Pendleton of St. George, the Dell Farris family of Las Vegas who also visited the Lynn Evans, they ate Thanksgiving dinner at Order-ville with the Merrill Clarks and were Joined by the Ervln Jensens of Las Vegas who stayed overnight with the Evans. Sessle Clark of Orderville is visiting the Evans for awhile. James Burrows is home from Salt Lake and reports Ada is feeling better and is with her sisters in Bountiful. The Bruce Daltons of Panguitch visited the Grant Daltons. Holiday visitors at the Jesse Wilsons were the Russell Wilsons of St. George, the Wayne Wilsons of Orem, Virginia Wll-son of Salt Lake, Carolyn Wilson and Paul Heihcock of Provo. Rick and Ken Hinton of Hurricane, Kent Wilson of Ariz., Robert of Cedar. The Craig Barneys of Logan, the Vic Gordons of Granger, the Don Ipsons of Blooming-ton were at the Layton Barney home. Holiday visitors with Idonna and Val Dean Deuel were Rose Elaine of Provo, LaVor of Fre-donia, Brenda Harrison of Texas. Abbie Fallis joined them at dinner on Thanksgiving, Arvil Fallis of Nevada visited them Friday and took his mother to spend the winter with them. Idonna and children and Brenda visited at Mt Pleasant with Hulda Spencer and other relatives for the weekend. The Kerry Sawyers of Panguitch and Kurt of Cedar visited at the David Sawyers. |
