Show The Word From Boulder BY ALICE ALVEY Howard Church and Ritch Harward have been in town on business recently. The Doyle Moosmans girl Cleta Allen and family were here for Easter vacation. The Cecil Grienerii had Klea and Ivan Shurtz and granddaughter. Klea plans on staying for a while as Ivan is going to Callente, Nevada, to work Obe and Dora Wright had their Niece and husband from Logan at their home over the weekend. The Emeron Petersons went up north to bring their girl Janis home for the Easter hoi idays, they brought grandson Jin.my Dean too Reeves Val Moosman came from Flagstaff and Linda Ormond hnd Gary Wayne Haws from C.S.U. Stake Relief Society Offic era Helen Shurtz, Lizzie Por ter. Clarris Griffin Nellie Mclnelly and Veda Mitchell visit ed at work meeting last week Quite a few people attended the Stake Conference in Escalante then went to Sacrament meeting at 7.00 P.M. here Melanie Roundy and Mrs Ann (Coombs) Spencer were the speakers. Ann teaches school in Callente, Nevada, she Is the former Ann Coombs of Boulder. Jackie Ormond came home from her job in Provo and brought her grandmother, Mrs. Eva Heaps, a cousin, Debra Heaps and Covington's girl, Jody, who is attending B.Y.U. iilrs. Heaps didn't need the operation she wu to have the last of March. Uvada Moosman and Idona Haws went to Panguitch Saturday to visit their father Arthur Alvey and the Owen Wool-Beys from Orem who came down to see Owen's brother, Reed, in the hospital. Csrter Ormond is in the hoe pltal receiving medical care. LaRena Hall had to take her son Randy to the hospital last week for treatment of a broken arm which he suffered while high Jumping at school. That just leaves Robert, the youngest, with no ailment yet as Terry has his feet in casts The air Is still chilly, some ice. but the apricots are nt frozen yet We've had some wind but not real bad. This spring mav turn out to be half way normal for a change. |
