Show The Word From Boulder BY AIJCE ALVEY Recent visitors in town were Fish and Game men. Forest Service. BLM. and telephone men. Marilyn and Cleo Reed Lyman were here from Salt Lake. Truman came home from Wayne county for a couple of days over the weekend Jackie Ormond enme from Provo and brought a couple of girl friends Sharon Hafen was home from Las Vegas for a visit with her folks and son Burke. San drn Lyman came from St George to visit her folks. The Vern Hansens had their girl Delores Cook and famllv, she and her husband Sam have 3 kids so the grandparents had plenty of fun Cecil Grlener's brother and wife from Oregon a e visiting here The Grieners went to Tropic to a road meet ing on the 14th and to Cedar to help her mother celebrate her 83rd birthday on the 17 Golda and Idona Haws spent the 18th In Pangultch at the beauty shop The Belief So lets held theil 17th of March party on the 18 Almost everyone In town took part In the program so won't mention any names. The ladies served a baked ham dinner which was delicious and involved at least 500 dishes, glasses, etc. to be washed up. Joey Covington played prelude music on the piano and Madge Moosman, Cynthia Pet ci son and Melanle Roundy helped set tables and serve. In Sacrament meeting the Ivan Lyman family, with the exception of Marilyn, took up the time. The boys, Mark. Jack and Ronaid spoke. Alice sang, and Dorthy and Ivan spoke, Arthur gave the closing prayer. Lorrell Munson of the Stake Presidency visited at Sunday School and Sacrament meeting The birds .. . all back and they don't get along better together than people. The robins stay on one side of the fence and the starlings on the other, and when a woodpecker shows up on the scene he doesn't stay around long We're having cold March weather, the wind has started and it seems to be as cold from the south as off the Mt. wliich is still snow covered. |
