Show PANGUITCH Paul Julander is recuperating at home after a lengthy stay in the Salt Lake LDS boa pital where he underwent major surgery. Armeda Farnsworth and S grandchildren, Lois, Christine and Cindy spent a week visiting dsughter Elaine Miller at Logan while her husband, Mike was attending National Guard Encampment. Mrs. Don Miller snd four children of Riverside, Calif, are visiting her parents, the Bernard Henries, and camping out at Pangultch Lake. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Knowlton of La Habra, Calif, and granddaughter Sherry are vacationing here at their summer home. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Garrard and son of La Mesa. Calif, are spending two weeks at their trailer home. Mr. and Mn John WeUes of Las Vegas arrived to vacation at their home here. Recent visitors st the home of Aurella Adair was the Les Hurst family of Plentywood, Montana. They attended the wedding and reception of Paul Kay and Laura Julander. The Adalrs took them on a tour of all the local scenery and Mr. Hurst was hosted by Jim Goulding of Cedar City and Charlie Wlntcb of Tropic to a little fishing at Pine Lake. Hannah Goulding and children spent three days at the Adalrs baby sitting while Aurelia accompanied the Hursts to Las Vegas to visit Mr. Hurst's brother. Mrs. Betty Lake visited her parents, the Joe Adalrs, on her way home to Salt Lake, after picking up children Irene and Kenny Worthen who have visited for two week with their Aunt Lucille and Uncle Orvil Cowles at Escalante. Dr. and Mrs. Phillip L. Farnsworth and five children spent the weekend at the LeGrande Farnsworth home. They were enroute from Columbus, Ohio where they spent the past year to Richland, Wash, where they formerly Uved. PhU will be manager of the Ceramic and Graphite Section of Battolle-Northwest, a research organization. On their way to Richland they also visited the De-vaur Talbot family In American Fork and with Lucllle's grandfather J. T. Talbot who is ill in Salt Lake City. Mildred Wilkins of Palo Alto, Calif, was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Proctor last week. She enjoyed fishing and sight seeing around our colorful country. Also visiting the Proctors were Frank, his wife Donna and their daughter Jenny Adcock of Austin, Texas, ale;- with them was Donna's muther of Boise, Idaho. They were fishing snd sight seeing in Utah and neighboring states before returning home. Ruth Davis and her daughter-in-law Myrtle Davis of Cedar City just returned from a trip to the Hawaiian Islands, visiting Oaho, Kauai, Maui and Hawaii. While on the island of Oali- they went through the LDS Temple. |
