Show RECEIVES SCHOLASTIC HONORS Arlene Cameron, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Cameron of Mess, Arizona, was honored as the first student to be chosen the Most Outstanding Cooperative Office Education Student of the Year at the Westwood High School Honor Assembly. Both she and the school were presented with trophies. The Cooperative Office Education program places students in business offices to work throughout the school yesr. Arlene has been employed by a law firm as s legal secretary during the past year where she will continue working this summer. Arlene also received Certificates of Scholarship from the University of Arizona and Arizona State University. Earlier in the school year, she was also honored at a special banquet for being one of Ave in Arizona to receive 100 on the AMS spelling test of 500 of the most frequently misspelled words used In business. Arlene is an honor student with a grade average of .948. This is better than an "A" average and can be achieved only by taking College Prep courses which are offered to a select group of able and ambitious students. She will en-tor Mesa Community College in the fall |
