Show 1 jnki Henrieville News Items MELBA D SMITH Champ Moore of Ogden spent the last nine days visiting his mother. Ruby Moore. He returned to Ogden on Monday to resume his teaching at Weber College. Rett. Christine and Stephanie Shakespear of Washington came last Tuesday to visit the Layton Smith and E. R. Shakespear families, and to get their son Kenny who had visited several days here. Last Tuesday the Relief Society officers served dinner and had a program for the ladies of the ward in commemoration of the anniversary of the Relief Society and the 17th of March. Mrs. Kenneth Goulding and son Dick accompanied Dave and Kathryn Pollock to Salt Lake City to visit relatives and receive medical care. Then Dave and Kathryn visited here over the weekend. Frank and Clatie Savage of Las Vegas came to visit her brother Nephi Goulding who has been ill, and visited other relatives and friends here Sunday. Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday were Carol Holmes and Evelyn Partner. An organ selection was presented by Collette Rose. Debbie Zabriskle spent several days hete with her grandmother, Fern Willis during quarter break at school. Melba Smith and Christine Shakespear met Floyd Jennings of Price on Friday at the Tropic Seminary where he was talking to the students that day. He has recently returned from a mission to South America. Saturday Floyd visited at the Iayton Smith home Jan and Stan Llston of Escalante visited Fawn Goulding one day last week. Bunny Goulding also visited here last week. Fawn's son-in-law Harold K. Monson has been put in Bishop of Pleasant View 4th ward in Provo. Elva Clark of Cannonvtlle visited with Minnie Smith last week. Georgia Middleton returned to Cedar City Sunday after visiting with the Myron Willis' since Wednesday. Harry and Thora Partner went to Panguitch on the 17th to meet their daughter Evelyn and bring her home to spend several days during spring break at Weber College. The Partner family went to the Cedar City airport Saturday to pick up their daughter Carol Holmes and baby Elizabeth of Goleta, Calif. On Monday they took Evelyn to Panguitch where she returned to school at Ogden. They visited Thora's mother Dean Hughes. Clem Johnson of Provo spent several days here with his mother Lavisa Johnson and other relatives. Conrad Johnson spent several days here from school at Cedar at the Thorley Johnson home. Virginia and Elayne Johnson and Louise Partner have started to work at the Pink Cliffs for the summer. Dave and Eda Qullter have gone to Hanksville to visit the Kent Johnson family. Darreld and Mary Lou Neil-son left Friday for Salt Lake where he will take tests before entering the hospital for an operation on Wednesday. Layton and Sherrie Moore of Salt Lake City visited Ruby Moore and her parents at Escalante. Ruby and Champ Moore visited at Escalante one day while Champ was here. Darnell Dutton spent the weekend in Escalante with Unda Spencer. Karen Dutton took Allene Riddle to Spring-ville to see a doctor. Ida Dunham, Patty and Roger Dutton accompanied them, then they went on to Ogden to see their sister Idonna Geyer. Evon Rose of Ogden spent the weekend home with the Irving Rose family. Bruce and Kristene Rose also visited here. Artolse Rose is visiting a few davs in Glendale with Verland and Lonna Rose. Collin Rose was home during the quarter break from Cedar City. Vee Smith of Kanab has been visiting his brother Lee Smith and family. Bemice and Julie Goulding went to Escalante to visit Mr. and Mrs. Berlin Osborn. Bern-ice reports her mother is feeling better now. Shanna Goulding starts her student teaching this Monday at Panguitch. Birthdays this week are Kel-lv Neilson, Thomas and Barton Smith. Donna S.
