Show The Word From Boulder BY ALICE ALVEY LaRena Hall took her son Terry to Panguitch last week for medical care for a badly sprained ankle, also for his driver's test. LaRena and Dorothy Lyman went to Salt Lake City to visit relatives for a few days. The Otto Haws went to Orem to visit the Owen Wool-eys, they visited with the Johnny Kings and Gayle Alveys. al so Arthur Alvey who is staying at Gayle's. Otto had to attend a BLM meetinf in Salt Lake. The Truman Lymans went to Wayne Co on business. The Dan Columans and Anthony Coombs' went to Richfield MIA officers and teachers attended Stake Leadership meeting Sunday in Escalante. In Sacrament meeting Rov and Harvey Moosman and Mr and Mrs William Brown apoka Roy, Harvey, and Prciton and their wives, also Twila and Arthur Mclnelly had a weekend family reunion aloni; with Veda and Max Reh'min and the Irln and Dnvl- Moos-mans The Browns are livinc in St. George. They're originally from No. Carolina and were converted to the church years ago, Harvey baptized Mr. Bro-own while on a mission back there. Ivan and Klea Shurtz brought Vilate Griener home from Cedar last week. Harold Nutter and Carter Ormond had a close call when they tipped over down on Steep Creek Bench. They were on the way into the lower country with three horses in the back of the truck. One horse was badly Injured and had to be shot, the other two escaped injury. Harold was skinned up a little and Carter got out okay. Glen Hegstead had gone on ahead to cook dinner, and when they didn't show up he went back and then brought them home, wn while on a mission back be held on the 17th with a hot dinner and program in the evening. Everyone over high school age Is invited. The program's going to be a dllly from what I've heard. The weather feels slightly spring like, most of the snow's gone hut the clouds are moving in again. |
