Show Tropic Topics BY KLLA ADAIR A baby girl was born Oct. 6 to Larry and Gall Howard In Lawton, Okla.; grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ursel Ott. Larry Is serving in the army. The LaMar Feltners have a new son born Oct. 7th. The baby has a sister and two brothers to welcome blm, and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ho bert Peltner of Cannonvllle. Deanna Dixon and daughter are visiting the Jack Chyno-weths. Mr. and Mrs. Schrider and family of Minnesota visited the Reginald Stewarts this week. Mr. nd Mrs. Oral Rlchins visited with Ethel Hatch this week. The Alton and 'he E R. Shakespears and Verdella and Minnie Nlelson attended funeral services for Nora LeFe-vre in Tabiona. The E. R. Shakespears visited with the Mac LePevres In Boulder last Sunday. Alton and Louie Shakespear visited in Hanksvllle last week. Their daughter Jeanette Sawyer of Orderville visited with them on Sunday. Alton and E.R. Shakespear were in Cedar City Wednesday buying and selling sheep. Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Shakespear visited their brother Will in Hurricane last week. Will and Ada visited here Tuesday. Hazel and June Saunders arc visiting with the Adrian Pollocks. Ampls LePevre Is a patient in the Cedar City hospital. The LaMar Shakespears visited the Eldon Brinkerhoff family over the weekend. Del Rae Pollock is home aft-ter being operated for appendicitis this week. Minnie Nielsen and Wanda Shakespear are In the hospital recovering from injuries received while picking fruit. Ada Sudweeks is visiting in Calif, with her daughter Elf on da and family. The Dunstans. friends of Ferrell Brinkerhoff. from En gland visited with the Eldon Brinkerhoff s last week. Geff Pollock and Ivan Clark had birthdays thia week. Ward conference was held Sunday. Speakers, representing the Stake, were Presidents Chase Shurtx and Malen Me cham, Flora LePevre of the Primary, Nelda Munson of the Relief Society, Melford Ahls-trom of Sunday School, Donna Bailey of MIA. Erma Wintch was sustained as YWMIA music director, and James Munson as MIA teacher. Cornell Willis and his mother Bonnie spoke in Sacrament meeting Sunday, prior to his leaving for an LDS mission. Pern Willis visited in town on Sunday. The family of Les LePevre had a dinner at the LePevre home Sunday for Cornell Willis. Arvon Shakespear graduated from a Beauty college in Cedar City Saturday. Her parents attended the graduation exercises. Linda Durfee visited at the Vernal Shakespear home over the weekend. Evadean Francisco made a trip to Cedar City to bring daughter Helena home for a two day vacation. Sandrea Francisco, Minerva Dutton and Viola Marshall went with her to see the eye doctor. Greg and Bill Pollock, Evelyn JoUey, Kay Barton, L. Dee Shakespear, Jed LePevre and friend Ginger were home for the weekend from school. Phyllis Stewart had a visit from her parents, brother and sisters this past weekend |
