Show Hotch Happenings BY RBVA LOWDER Friday the Oavid Frosts and Rhoana Findlay of Kanab visited the David Sawyers, Rhoana stayed overnight. The Lee Porters and Mr. and Mrs. t-on Woolev of Orem visited thtm for several days; Saturday they all visited at Escalante. Sunday they met the Ronald Sawvers of Cedar at Woods Ranch for a picnic, the Nile Sawyers joined them there The Karl Lowders and Idon-na Deuel took Karleta and Rose Elaine hack to school on Sunday after they spent several days home Friday Idonna and Rose Elaine met the Barton Dcuels and sons Leland and George of Escalante at Panguitch to sec Iceland as he left for Texas George came here with them to visit until Saturday when the Deuela and Mrs. Hulda Spencer came for him. The Russell Wilsons of Sail na and Hugh Wilson of St. George visited the Jesse Wilsons. The John Sawyers of Cedar visited at the Arthur Sawyers. The Allen Huntlngtons of Kanab, Stanley Huntington of Dixie and Mrs. Carl Fnrns-worth and girls of Panguitch visited the Wiley Huntlngtons. Hie Earl and the Duard Riggs of Logan were at the Or-las Riggs. The Cloyd Campbells of St. George, the Philip Robertsons of Enterprise, and the Kay Alexanders of Bountiful visited Mrs. S. B. Riggs. LaVor Deuel of the Naval Air Force arrived Sunday to visit his mother Mrs. Osmyn Deuel for a few days, enroute to his new base at Calif. Visiting Friday with Marde Dutton were the Robert Woodbury of Hurricane, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Dutton of Cedar, Mr and Mrs. Jay Dutton and several friends of Fredonia. The Bert Barnhursts of Cedar visited her and at the Orson Barnhursts. Desmon Deuel of Blue Diamond, Nevada spent several days with his sister Man if Other visitors at the Barnhursts were the Al Wil-helms and Austin Barnhursts of Las Vegas. The Max Burrows of Fredonia spent several days at the James Burrows home; Sunday visitors were the Phil Burrows of Panguitch and the Gale Burrows of St. George. The Ronald Sawyers of Cedar visited the Garth Heaps, Mrs. Merle Barnhurst is visiting the Heaps and the Calvin Wilsons. The Eric Barnhursts had as visitors her brother Gerald Wllcock and family of Payson, the Mervln Barnhursts of Cedar and the Ross Workmans of Beaver. Visiting the Oliver Hunting-tons Tuesday were John Mech-am of Tropic and his grandson David Bybee of Lake View, Oregon. They were enroute from Ore. and Mr. Huntington took them on to Tropic. The Don Munson family of Kearns and the Guy Evans of Henrleville visited the Bob Evans during the weekend. Francis, Ramon and Diann Porter, Ivor Riggs and child- ran and Mrs J. E. Riggs met Dale Porter at the Cedar air port Sunday. He has just completed an LDS mission to At gentina and will give his report in Sacrament meeting on Sunday at 2 p.m. Visiting with the Leland Riggs family were Leon Weeks of Tacoma, Wash and Mrs. Marcie Cope of Tropic; Nllen Cope of Calif., Roselyn Taylor of Dugway. Adelia and Ernest Tobler of Las Vegas Verdella and Mnnie Neilson of Tropic and three nieces of Ogden visited May Sawyer on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Henderson attended the graduaton of his nephew and wife, the Ken Whitings from BYU. Spending Saturday night with the Hendersons were his sister and her husband, the Jack Whitings enroute to their home in Calif. Other visitors with them were Jim Thorup and daughter Doretta and the Gene Gather-mans of Calif. Norman, Alyce and Lisa Henderson are here from San Diego, he is on leave from the Navy for three weeks. The John Jolley family of Calif, visited the Hendersons Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans went to Las Vegas Thursday to visit several days with the Er-vin Jensens and the Clark Evans and to see their granddaughter Lana Barnhurst in the hospital, she is slowly improving. They helped Clark celebrate his birthday Sunday. Visiting a few days at the Grant Daltons were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Roundy of Las Vegas; Friday visitors were the Gib Clarks of Kanab. the Ber-nell Crofts and Lawrence Ree-ses of Ordervtlle, they all went ' to Pine Lake on a picnic. Other visitors were Gary Johnson, Terry Carpenter, Lary Pugh of Orderville, Sam and Greg Evans of St. George, Greg stayed to visit several days. Dorothy, Vergene and Dee Johnson of Nevada brought Abbie Fallis home after she visited a few months there. Bob Godby and friends of Calif, spent several days at the Bill Ducketts, fished and enjoyed a cook out at the Howard Prince home Sunday. Mrs. Duckett's sister Lottie and her husband Herbie of Calif, also visited with them. The Wynn Tureks of Wash lngton and Brent Turek of Cedar visited the E. F. Tureks. Mrs. Arnold Sawyer went to Grantsville last week to visit the LaVal Sawyers, granddaughters Nicole and Dione came home with her to visit awhile. The Vay Sawyers of Kanab visited them over the weekend, Vaelyn and Verene stayed to visit during the week. Visiting at the Laytnn Barney home were the Don L. Ip-sons of Kanab. the Richard Millers of Orem and Craig Barney of Dixie. |
