Show PANGUITCH The Joe Adairs had a house full over the weekend: The Hank and Wanda Luomas and two children from Bountiful, Utah, Betty Lou .Lake and three children of Salt Lake, Kenneth Adair, North Salt Lake City, Lucille Cowles and daughter Carolyn came from Escalante and spent the day. Daughter In law, Aurella A-dair and two children joined the group. Joe and Marie went to Escalante to see their granddaughter Carolyn Cowles graduate from high school. The A dalrs are real proud; had son E. Carroll Adair and five grand children, had two graduate from High School, two from Junior High and a granddaughter from college. Also report birth of a great granddaughter born to grandson T o n I Worthen. Spending the Memorial Day weekend with Fay Ella and Rulon Prince were Howard Kay Prince and family from Bountiful and Dan and Ivy Hyatt of Richfield. All enjoyed fishing at Panguitch Lake Mary Ella Sudweeks and three children of CircleviUe spent one afternoon with them. Wallace Church graduated May 28th from CSU, majoring In Accounting. Attending the commencement exercises were his wife Judy, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Champ Church, and his brother Earl and wife from Brlgham City. Weekend visitors at the Church home were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Church and two girls of Brlgham, and Wal lace and Judy who came from Cedar City and will remain here while Wallace works with his father for a while this summer. Attending a District 6 Farm Bureau workshop at Richfield last Monday were Rosemond Henrie, Afton Church, Delia Hatch. Verda Tebbs. Isabell Ipson and Ireta Henrie A turkey dinner with all trimmings was served to the high school graduating class and their partr rs and t. e faculty at the Seminary building after commencement exercises Tuesday evening. A baby boy was bom June 3rd to Grant and Gloria Houston, the baby has a brother and two sisters and grandmother Mrs. Florence Houston to help welcome him. Tom and Linda Fay Seeg miller are parents of a baby girl born June 3rd; the Jay Talbots are the grandparents. James and Barbara Guymon of Hanksville are parents of a baby girl born June 2; Barbara came home to have her baby as they are living at Bullfrog Basin where her husband is with the Flan and Game. Proud grandparents are the Art Tebba. A baby girl Was born May 31 to Morris and Iris Burr.. Lena Daly is la the hospital recovering from surgery. Pris cilia Nez and Belle Boyter are medical patients. Visiting during Memorial Day weekend wire James O. Henrie and four children of Los Angeles at Mrs Ruth Hen ne's home; she Also had Doyl and Kathryn Ipsjpn and three children of Login who also visited the Nellq Ipeons, and Richard and Irene Tebbs and three daughters of Cedar City who shared part of their visit with the Ray Ttbbs Richard and family will leave for Eugene, i egurt !4b June 26th where he will attend school for the summer. Argie Peterson, who has been visiting at the Bern Millers with her sister and family the past ten days, has returned to her home at Brlgham City. Other relatives and folks at the Miller home for the Mem orial Day holiday were the Melvin Millers from Price, the Garald Lewises and four children, Jack Owens and daughter, Leila Stoker and the Ren Bartons and three daughters from Henderson, also Roma's fiance Rltch, from Kaysville, and the Hugh Kinney's and two children of Tremonton. When Pat Dix returned to his job at Vernal on Sunday, he took daughters Roberta and Melody up with him to visit for two weeks Stanley D. McEwen, son of the Merwin Browns, has been promoted to MRS; he is a board the USS Prarie station ed In San Diego. Kay Cherrington called her folks, Mayo and Erna Rlggs, Monday to say that her husband George was In the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo and had undergone major surgery that day. Mrs. Luis Dickinson is home after spending a month In Henderson, Nevada with the Kenneth Stokers and the Robert Dickinson families. While she was there Mary and Carl Cal-cara and boys of Carlsbad, Cal if. visited with her over Mother's Day weekend, sporting a new 1969 Cadillac. Her grandson Charles Calcara has returned from Viet Nam, and another grandson Rodney Dickinson was home on leave in Henderson from the Navy in So. Carolina and is going to Hawaii Leila Stoker brought Mrs Dickinson home and the Lloyd Stokers went back with her to Nevada for a visit with their son Kenneth and family Dell and Mary Dickinson and Leland and little granddaughter Michelle are here visiting with Mrs Dickinson and the Merwin Browns. Mr and Mrs. BUI Rappley and son Steve visited over the Memorial Day weekend with Doris parents, the S E Walkers. Roma Talbot. Marilyn Allen. Catherine Jensen and Juu"e Barney were selected to go to Girls State at Logan in July Mrs Carol Hales and Mrs. Jean Laraont and thre boys of Salt Lake came down for Memorial Day and spent the week end at the home of their moth er, Mrs. Ala Johnson. |
