The John Mcchams came and took him home to Tropic for tre weekend. Saturday Mr Mecham and Gary Don visited here. Deloy Evans visited In Pro-o two days last week. The De-lln Crofts family of Vernal visited at the Lynn Evans home for the weekend. The Mervln Barnhurst family of Cedar visited with tha Eric Barn hursts. The Max Burrows of Fredo-nla and the Vay Sawyers of Kanah visited in town Sunday. The Gib Clarks of Kanab and the Bernell Crofta of Or-derville visited Saturday at the Grant Daltons. Grant has employment west of Cedar City. Georgia Gunn of Salt Lake visited the Nile Sawyers. The Russell Wilsons of Sail-na visited the Jesse Wilsons. DUP meeting was held at the home of Velma Huntington. Hostess Hope Dalton served refreshments. Quilting was enjoyed. The lesson Ships was given by county leaders Mary Sargent and Ruby Myers. Other visitor were Alta Talbot and Ina Thompson. A Mother s Day program was given by the Sr. and Jr. Sunday Schools Sunday, potted plants and a poem was preaen-ted to the mothers. The Boy Scouts held a banquet Saturday, proceeds to be need for the Scout program. A film on Wild Life was presented. Visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Daly of Pangultch. Speakers in Sacrament meeting wore Kelvin Yeast, Deloy Evans, also John Johnson of Pangultch. A special musical number was a song by the Singing Mothers. Dixie students home for the weekend were Stanley Huntington, Hugh Wilson, Craig Barney, Rose Elaine Deuel and Karieta Lowder. Mr. and Mrs. Knowlton Little of Kanab visited the Kil-bum Wilsons. Mrs. Calvin Wilson visited for two weeks m St. George with her mother Mr. Merle Barnhurst. They Just came here Thursday and received word of the death of Mrs. Bern-hurst's greet grandson Darren, son of the Dennis Woods; Mr and Mrs. Garth Heap took Mrs Barnhurst to Las Vegas to be with the family The Calvin Wilsons received a phone call from son Curtis who is on a mission in Canada Gall Duckett, Margie Prince and Letltla Henderson attended a BPW meeting in Rich field Thursday end sang on the program. Velma Huntington, Hope Dalton and Gel Wllcock atten ded stork shower In Pangultch for Judy Oat Davis. Saturday the Davis family visited st the Wtlcocks. Dayne has employment at the laundry in Pangultch. Gal received a Mother's Dsy phone call from son Evsn from his army base In Va.; he received the Soldier of the Month award for the third time. Hope and Gal visited in Cedar Monday. The Daltons received word that son Bruce has been tranferred from Belfast, Ireland to Cork and is en-Joying his mission. Dr. Joseph Hatch and friends of Salt Lake were here for the turkey hunt and got a 15 lb. turkey. Mrs. Boyce Truman of Pangultch, also her little grand son, visited the Ivor Rlgga family Sunday. The Homer Duttons of Cedar visited Marcle Dutton Sunday. The Wynn Tureks of Washington and Brent Turek of Cedar visited the Ed Tureks. Sunday visitors here were the Leon Sawyers, the Dee and Mike Callahana of St. George; Nolan Button and friend of Kanab; the Wayne Harris fa mlly of Glendale. The Vera Barneys of Rich field visited the Frank Barn eys on Sunday. The Don L. Ipsons of Kanab visited at the Layton Barneys, then Sunday the Barneys visited her mother in Tropic. The Pat Dix family visited the Oliver Huntingtons Saturday and Sunday, the children were overnight guests. Visitors st the Orson Barn-hursts were the Al Wllhelms snd Austin Barnhursts of Las Vegas, the Merlin Barnhursts snd Junior, also son Kevin who was on a furlough from Fort Bragg.
