Show Hatch REV A LOWDKR Dan Tcbbs and Frank Richards of the High Stake Council visited at Priesthood meeting Sunday. The town board put Christmas lights through town and tne homes that were decorated helped out with a Christmas feeling. Christmas night the MIA sponsored a dance: there have been sleigh and tubing parties. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Turek were accompanied by the Wynn Turcks of Washington on a two weeks trip to Los Angeles to visit the Tom Wlnns during the holidays. The Kay Browns of Orem visited Mrs. J. E. Riggs during the holidays. Mrs. Jaun Yazzle and children Chris. Lora. Lorinda and Grace and her family, of New Mexico visited the LaMar Bar- neys and Kelvin Yazzie who accompanied them to Salt Lake to visit relatives Christmas day. Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs visited overnight Christmas i eve in St. George with the Jerry Riggs family. The Vay Sawyers of Kanab visited during the holidays at the Arnold Sawyers. The Jay Duttons of Fredo-nia and the Homer Duttons of Cedar visited during the holidays at Marcic Dutton's. Most of the towns people that were ill with flu are feeling better. Visiting the Lynn Evans for Christmas was their son De-loy home on furlough and her mother Mrs. Sessie Clark of Orderville; the Delln Crofts of Vernal spent the remained of the holidays here except Delin Crofts who returned home. The Wiley Huntingtons had all their children and most of the grandchildren home Saturday to a family dinner: Allen Huntington of Kanab, the Carl Farnsworths and the MacRae Julanders of Panguitch, Lowell home on furlough and wife Phyllis of Delta, Stanley from Dixie College, and daughters Lynne and Betty who are still at home. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Barn-hurst spent several days during the holidays in Las Vegas with their children. The Don Heaps of Mesa, Arizona spent part of the holidays here with his folks, the Garth Heaps and in Salt Lake with her folks. The Ronald Sawyers of Cedar visited for a few days with the Heaps. The Max Burrows family of Fredonia visited here Christmas day and on Sunday. Lt. LaVoi Deuel returned to his base in Florida after spending Christmas with his mother Mrs. Osmyn Deuel and family. Mrs. Deuel and family and Mrs. AbUe Fallis had Christmas dinner at Orderville with the Gam Blackburns. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Henderson and Dennis spent the hoi- I idays in southern California. Deloy Bounds and friend of Monroe visited the Grant Dal-tons and Mrs. Osmyn Deuel and family last week. Visiting the Daltons on Christmas were LaRae Englestead of Panguitch, and the Gib Clarks of Kanab who also spent the weekend here. The David Sawyers visited Christmas day in Tropic with the Roy Shakespears. Kevin Shakespear visited the Sawyers a few days. Shauna Excell of Panguitch visited Karleta Lowder on Saturday. Evan and Penny Wilcock of Cedar spent a few days with his folks for the holidays. The Wilcocks got word that Evan was transferred to Alabama after his furlough at home. |
