Show CANNONVILLE BY MAE TWITCHELL Rae Hughes had all of her family visiting' over the weekend: Glover and family, Grover of Escalante, Rose and family of Price, Em and family of Sigard, Eva L. and family of Panguitch. Reed Thompson and daughter of Salem, the Lee Halls and Robert Higbec were at the Rachel Thompson home and visiting in town over the week-tend. Guests at the Byron Da-vies were Sharon Brown of Salt Lake and Arnold Way-man of Ferron; Maureen is hornet for a week, she is working at the LDS hospital at Salt Lake. Marion Clark is here staying with his parents, the 'Marion Clarks Sr. for a month. Annabelle Fletcher was home from CSU this weekend. Alta Henderson is staying at Escalante this week while daughter Nelda and Ivan are in San Diego. Byron Davies is in Phoenix this week on business. Myrtle Baldwin was in Salt Lake on business and visiting' her children last week. Melda Davis and Vaughn and I spent Wednesday in Monroe visiting with Uncle Rob Penny. Saturday the Jack Chynoweths, Evan and Judy Twttchell and I went to Pro-vo and spent the day with my son Ronald touring the BYU campus and took in the Ball game that evening between BYU and Arizona State. Mr. and Mrs. Hobart Felt-ner and daughters Shirlene and Janiece, with the LaMar Feltners of Tropic spent part of last week in Salt Lake visiting with Beverly and family. Sam Graff has been a patient at the Cedar City hospital the past week, he is home now but is still not feeling too good. Mr. and Mrs. Reldon Palmer are proud parents of a new son, they have a boy and girl at home. Grandparents are John Palmer of here and the Randal Lymans of Escalante. Craig Twitchell is celebrating his 14th birthday Feb. 19. The Bill Nelsons spent Wednesday with the Charles Shlpps of Joseph. The Joseph Dunhams went to Salt Lake to attend the funeral services of Alice's sister Vera's husband Lewis Dotson. Reported they saw a lot of the folks that used to live in southern Utah. The speaker in Sacrament meeting Sunday was Elder Gary Don Pollock of Tropic. Bert Stock was sustained as first counselor to Doyle Clark in the Sunday School. Youth Fireside was held in the chapel Sunday evening under the direction of Don and Louise Mangum. Eddie Johnson had the misfortune of falling off a horse and getting a real bad break above the knee on the right leg. He is still in the hospital and is in hopes he will be home in two weeks, would appreciate letters from any one who has a little extra time on their hands. His sister Margart was accidently shot in the foot, but with a few stitches it is getting along nicely and she will be able to go to school within a week or so, t . |
