Show TROPIC TOPICS ELLA ADAIR The Wallace Otts attended a party in Panguitch Saturday for Ranger Daniels. Leola Ott visited in Provo and Payson last week with her daughters Beth and Gail. Afton Pollock and Wallace Ott attended a civil defense class in Cedar on Saturday. The Charley Wintchs spent the weekend in St. George. Speakers in Sunday Sacrament meeting were Berlin Os-born and Kenneth Goulding, Paula Wintch played a piano solo. The Afton Pollocks, Sam Pollocks, Jack Chynoweths and Dean Wintchs attended a family birthday party for Lam-oino and Nida Pollock in Es-calantc on Jan. 12th. The Kerry Nelsons, took Ma-len and Angellne Mecham to Oak City Saturday, Angellne's sister is seriously ill. Tom Shakespear received a cracked rib when he ran into a fence. Several folks have been very ill this past week with the flu. E. R. Shakespear has been a patient in the Panguitch hospital for tho past ten days recovering from surgery, Tho Jack Chynoweths have a new car. The Sam Pollocks attended funeral services last week in , Joseph for the small daughter of the Lynn Parkers, Mrs. Parker being their niece. John II. Johnson celebrated his 83rd birthday on Jan. 7th. Wo would like to take this opportunity to wish him belated birthday greetings, from his many .friends in Tropic, and wish him happiness during the coming year. Aaron Bybee, Vernal Mech- 4 am and Jerril LeFevre had la birthdays this week. J, James Munson made a week end trip to Nevada and brought his father Silas Munson home with him to spend a few & weeks here. The Will Shakespeare from Glen Canyon spent the weekend in town. The James Clarke family spent a few days with Ella By-bee. Frank Bybee has moved to Clrcleville with his family. |
