Show Panguitch Branch Bank Manager Russell M. Wilson Mr. E. A. Clawson, chairman of the board of directors of the First State Bank of Salina, has announced the appointment of Mr. Russell M. Wilson as manager of the Bank's Panguitch Office. The appointment was made at the annual meeting of the stockholders and directors of the bank held on January 8th at Salina. Mr. Wilson is well known to. the people of the area. He grew up in Hatch and attend the schools in Hatch and Pan-, guitch. In June of 1960 he, received his Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Utah after which he joinedthe Mamoth Lumber Co. as logging super-intendant and later as manager. Upon joining the Bank on January 1, 1963 he was assigned to the Salina Office for intensive training in operations, cedit and bank management Since June of 1963 Russell has been at the Panguitch Office. His work here, his academic training and business experience provide an excellent background for the management position. Mr. Clawson also announced that 'the directors are pleased with the progress and steady growth of the Bank and its branches. During 1963 total savings accounts increased more than one-half million dollars. and-theHBank and its" branches paid $196,000 interest on savings and time deposits. During 1963 the Bank topped $5,000,000 in loans to people of the'Southern Utah area. |
