Show HATCH Reva Lowder Van Smith visited several days with Abbie Fallis before returning to his Army base in Texas. Mrs. Gam Blackburn and children were Sunday visitors with Mrs. Fallis. Mrs. Rhoana Findlay of Ka-nab visited her parents, the T. II. Sawyers on Monday. Sunday visitors in town included the Max Burrows family of Fredonia at the James Burrows and the Karl Lowd-ers; Wayne Harris and friend of Glendale; the Irving Rose family of Henrieville. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Davis and son and the Terry Davis from Salt Lake spent several days with the Jesse Wilsons. Sarah, LaRue and Zelma Porter and Maggie Barnhurst visited the DeRell Sudweeks at Tropic. Eldan Porter is home after a tour to Mexico. The A. C. Nordells of Washington, Philip and Roy Robinson of Alton visited in town. The Morlcy Wilson family of Enterprise were here to visit the A. D. Wilsons and show off their new baby girl. Visitors at the Calvin Wilson and the Orson Barnhurst homes were Vere and Leo Barnhurst, Merlin and Dallas Barnhurst of Las Vegas, Joe Barnhurst of St. George and his daughter Yvonne of Salt Lake. Dallas stayed to visit. The Merrill Clarks of Spanish Fork visited the Lynn Evans family. The Evans and Mrs Sessie Clark of Orderville went to Spanish Fork to attend a testimonial for the Clark's son Ardean who is leaving on a mission to Scotland. Saturday visitors here were the Sam Evans family of New Castle, the Vay Sawyers of Ka-nab, the Pat Dix family, Ann and Lois Farnsworth of Panguitch. The John and the Usher Wil-cocks of Milford visited Sunday with the Eric Barnhursts. Mrs. Vonie Roundy and sons of Calif., Mrs. Bernice Hoys and children of Nevada, the Lyle Sawyers and Mrs. Lea Sawyer and Rebecca of Panguitch visited the Arthur Sawyers and all went to Kanab for the wedding. Speakers in Sunday Sacrament meeting were A. D. Wilson and H. Frank Orton from Panguitch: LaRue Holt and Florene Campbell sang. Mrs. Orton and daughter were also here. Scout leader Eldon Porter presented the Eagle Scout a-ward to Kenneth. Barnhurst, son of the Eric Barnhursts, in Sacrament meeting. The Elders Quorum finished the out door fire place, painted tables and benches Saturday on the church lot. Mrs. Max Haney entertained at a trousseau tea Thursday in honor of her daughter Arlene. The Boy Scouts left Monday for a week's trip to Lost camp. The Gordon Barneys are parents of a baby boy born June 10, grandparents, the Frank Barneys, took care of little Kerry and LaRell. Mrs. Beth Martin and children of Murray visited the E. F. Tureks, they had bsen visiting at the Indian mission in Ariz. Mrs. Ladd Holt and children of Salt Lake are visiting her parents, the C. D. Campbells. Mrs. Darol Allred and children of Omaha, Nebraska are visiting at the Oliver Hunting ton home. Lena Wilcock and family of St. George, the Lamond Davis family and Sheron Davis from Panguitch were visitors with the Gale Wilcock famly. Mr, and Mrs. George Workman accompaiied the Keith Workmans to Salt Lake to vis-It the Garth Workmans who are moving to Calif. Garth will be receiving a promotion. Vis iting at the George Workmans on Wednesday were Mrs. Dora Clove of Panguitch. Weekend visitors in town In- eluded the Orlas Riggs of Kanab, Max Haney, Wiley Huntington, Earl and Larry Sawyer, the Gee Wilsons, of Tcrrey. The John Chrlstensens of Logan have moved into the Sam Evans home, he is employed at the Fish hatcery. |
