Show Tropic Meeting To Study County Development Potential Daniel E. Stewart, Development Director in North Carolina, said, "The local residents of an area must do 75 per cent of the work to develop their resources.' Outside agencies can not and should not. They can aid and advise, but local communities must design and carry out their own programs. The local committee for the development of Garfield County will mset Monday, December 12, at 8:00 p.m., in the school at Tropic. Several projects are being developed which will affect the whole county. Mr. Dale E. Clarkson, Resource Development director of the Utah State Extension Service urges all those Interested in the future growth of the county to attend the meeting at Tropic.
