Show Geo. Bybee Buried Funeral services for George Myron Bybee, who died March 23rd in Las' Vegas, were held In the Tropic chapel March 26, under direction of Bishop Clive ,F.. Bybee. Organ prelude, Genevieve LeFevre; song, "Oh My Fatherl choir; invocation, Craig Bybee; eulogy, Birrell Bybee Jr.;!song, "Home On The Range,'' Molly Bybee; talk, MaClaln Bybee; song, "Springtime In The Rockies", Marian and June Shakespear, and Le-ona Stewart; talk, Thomas Richards; song, "I Know My Re-demeer Lives", choir; benediction, Victoria Brent. The grave was dedicated by Al Merrill. Mr. Bybee was born July 23, 1886 in Paria to George Myron and Louisa Ann Stewart Bybee. His parents moved to Georgetown when he was, a smaU boy, and in 1893 they moved to Tropic. He married Rhuhamia Adair Aug. 2, 1908 in the St. George Temple, she died in 1947. He served a LDS mission In Ireland; attended BYU; later moved back to Tropic and went Into the sawmill business with his father. In 1925 he secured franchise for guide services and saddle horses at Bryce Canyon. He served as Garfield County Democratic chairman, and was member of State, Liquor Commission. He moved a-way In 1939; lived past 16 years in Las Vegas and Ely, Nevada with his sons. Survivors: 4 sons, 4 daughters; sisters, brothers: Mrs. Manilla Campbell, Gerald, Grants-ville; Mrs Del Campbell, Death Valley, Calif,; Mrs. Cecy Pollock, Tropic; Lamar, Kanab. |
