Show UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT PUBLIC SALE Under the provisions of 43 U.S. C. 1171 and 43 CFR 2243, there will be offered to the highest bidder, but at not less than the appraised value, at a public sale to be held at 1 o'clock P. M., local time on Wednesday, the 26th of of January, 1966, at the LAND OFFICE, 125 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, the following tracts of land all in Salt Lake Meridian, Utah: U-0139249 Parcel 1: T. 33 S., R. 4 E., sec. 26, EHNWNE", EV4WHNWWNEK, SWy4NEH, WHWSEWNE, containing 80 acres, appraised $400.00. Parcel 2: T. 33 S., R. 4 E., sec. 36, WWKSEUNWK, ESW-WNWW, EHNWWSWV. W-WttNESW. containing 60 a-cres, appraised $350.00. Parcel 3::T. 33 S., R. 4 E., sec 25, N-EUNEKSEtt, NV4SEV4NEUS-EU, SESEyNEV4SElj,, SEy4-SESESE14.. T. 33 S., R. 5 E., sec. 29, WHSWV4, SESW-" sec. 30, lots 1, 2, 3, 4, SEW-NEV4, WHEV4, EHWVz, EV4S-E; sec. 31, NV4NE. NV5NE-UNW, SENEWNW, E-SWHNEINWVi, EWNEV4SE-NWU, NWNEWSE1ANW-U, NEUNWSEUmVVi, SE-14.NE1A, ESWNEy, nw-SWiNEy. ESWWSWNE-NWiSWiiSWHNEV. sec. 32, SWKNEU, NWM, containing 1129.58 acres, appraised $5,650.00. Publication cost for each parcel is $34.00. No bid will be accepted for less than the appraised value to which bid there must be added the cost of publication noted above; if the bidder is the petitioner for sale he will be required to pay such cost less any amount previously deposited ftoward publication costs. The lands will be sold subject to a reservation to the United States for all ditches and canals and oil and gas, together with the rights to prospect for, mine and remove the same. Bids may be made by the principal or his agent, either personally at the sale or by mail. Bids for a parcel must be for all the lands in the parcel. Bids sent by mail will be considered only if received at Room 3230 Federal Building, 125 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, prior to 10 o'clock AJtf., on January 26, 1966. Bids must be in sealed envelopes accompanied by certified checks,- postoffice money orders, bank drafts, or cashiers' checks made payable to the Bureau of Land Manage ment for the amounts of the bids, plus the publication costs shown above. The envelopes must be marked in the lower left-hand corner "Public Sale Bid, Serial No. U-0139249, Parcel No. , sale held January 26, 1966." The highest bidder at the sale will be required to pay Immediately the amount thereof together with the cost of publication. Any adverse claimants of the above-described land should file their claims, or objections, with the undersigned on or before the time designated for sale. The Bureau of Land Management has not searched the county records to ascertain the existence of any adverse claims. Any contiguous owner claiming a preference right must assert right to the undersigned within 30 days commencing on the day after the close of bidding and the announcement of the 'highest bid received. Within the 15 day period immediately following the end of the 30 day preference period each preference bidder must submit proof that on the last day of the 30 day period, he was the owner of whole title in fee of the contiguous land. (43 CFR 2243. 1-4 (b) ). However, contiguous owners will not be able to assert their preference rights to any parcel for which bids are not received. The lands described in this notice shall be segregated from all forms of appropriation, Including locations under the mining laws, from the date of first publication of this notice.
