Show Mild December Mild temperatures have continued to prevail. A daytime high of 56 was registered on December 8th. The low reading for the month was recorded on December 1st warming to 28 on the 8th. The moderate temperatures and cloud cover resulted in a trace of precipitation on Thursday morning, December 9th. Permits for Ponderosa Pine Christmas Trees will be available at the Panguitch Ranger Offices on December 17th to be cut and tagged in a designated cutting area. Those desiring Ponderosa Pine are asked to contact the office for further Information. Circleville Ranger Joe Fra-zier reports that about 22 elk were sighted about one third of the way up West Hunt Creek. Elk sign was also observed on the Barney Top. |
