Show UNITED STATES DEPART-PART OF THE INTERIOR, BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION, ' PUBLIC SALE. January 25, 1965. Under provisions of section 2455, R. S. (43 U.S.C. 1171),, there will be offered to the highest bidder, but at not less than the appraised value, at a public sale to be held at1 11 o'clock a.m., on the 17th day of March next, at Room 3230, Federal Bldg., 125 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, the following tracts of. land: Serial No. Utah 0140644, T. 37 S., R. 3 W., SL Mer Utah, Sec. 3, Lot 4, Sec. 4, Lot 1, 78.7 acres, appraised value $1,000.00. The lands will be sold subject to a reservation for ditches and canals according to the provisions of the act of August 30, 1890 (26 Stat. 391). All oil and gas will be reserved to the United States In accordance with the Act of July 17, 1914 (38 Stat. 509), as amended; all coal in accordance with the act of June 22, 1910 (36 Stat. 583). Bids may. be made by the principal or his agent, either personally at the sale or by mail. Bids for a parcel must be for all the lands in the parcel. Bids sent by mail will be considered only If received at Land Office, P.O. Box 11505, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84111 prior to 10 o'clock a.m., on March 17, 1965. Bids must be in sealed envelopes accompanied by certified checks, post-office money orders, bank drafts, or cashiers' checks made payable to the Bureau of Land Management for the amounts of the bids. The envelopes must be marked in the lower left-hand corner "Public Sale Bid, Serial No. U-0140644, Sale held March 17, 1965." The; highest bidder at the sale will be required to pay immediately the amount thereof. Any adverse claimants of the above-described land should file their claims, or objections, with the undersigned on or before the time designated for sale. Any contiguous owner' chiming a preference right must assert such right to the undersigned within 30 days from the above sale date. However, contiguous owners will not le able to assert their preference rights to any parcel for which bids are not received.
