Show Local - Society Mr. and Mrs. Otho Bulkicy and Frank Daly attended the tri-state Peace Officers convention held at the El Cortez Hotel at Las Vegas over Wednesday and Thursday of last week. Proud grandmother Grace Youti announces the arrival of a baby boy born at Cedar City to Linden and Annette Hatch on Feb. 7th. She spent three weeks with them to help welcome the new arrival and has gone back to help Annette. Other grandparents are the Vernal Hatch's of Koosh-arem. Captain and Mrs. Gordon Henrie and four children from Williams AFB in Arizona, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Henrie and five children of Coalville, and Mrs. Mary D. Sargent were all down for the weekend visiting Nina Hatch and other relatives and friends in town. Mrs. Sargent Is working at Salt Lake with the state legislature as a telephone operator. Supt. Russell Merrell spent Monday at Salt Lake, aiding with the school legislative program. Mrs. Vernon Holman spent last week in Salt Lake with Senator Holman. Don Robinson, who is in a nursing home in Nephi is recovering from an operation. Dr. and Mrs. Sims Duggins have spent several days at Salt Lake; Dr. Duggins attended a post graduate school at U of U. TO WED Miss Valerie Proctor Mr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Proctor announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Valerie, to Rodney S. Pearson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L, Pearson of Circle-ville, on March 13th. BROWN WILLIS Of interest to their many friends and relatives is there-cent marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Marion L. Willis, nee Ruth N. Brown of Provo who were married in the,- Manti Temple on February 17th. Mrs. Willis .is the daughter of Grace G. and the late Wm. A. Nuttall of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Willis are planning a honeymoon trip to the Hawaiian Islads. They will reside in Henrieville. |
