Show Future Farmers Note Observance Of Their 'Week', February 22 - 27 NOTE: The annual FFA banquet has been postponed until March 10th. This week, Feb. 22 27, i-Na4 tonal FFA Week. The Future Farmers of America is the national organization of, by and for farm boys studying vocational agriculture in public secondary schools which operate under the provisions of the National Vocational Education Act. Ths National FFA organization was launched at Kansas City, Missouri in Nov. 1928, originally incorporated under the laws of the state of Virgi- nia; the FFA was granted a charter of Incorporation by act of congress In 1950. The FFA has approximately 400,000 active members in 9,000 local high school chapters located in farming areas throughout the 50 United States and Puerto Rico. It is a good organization and gives boys many opportunities. Officers of the Panguitch Chapter of FFA went to Rich- field Tuesday to attend a rad- -io broadcasting program. ; Mike Miller, Reporter : |
