Show Hatch REV A LOWDER The speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Nordcll Dalton and Ther-man Smith of Circle vllle; mu slcal numbers were a song by the Primary Lahoma girls, a song by Charlene Dalton, and a duet by Tressia Dalton and Eutahana Robinson. A large number of our ward members attended the Stake Gold and Green dance in Panguitch Friday; several of our members participated in the special dances. Weekend visitors In town were college students from C-SU: Jess Lowder, Homer Dut-ton, Richard Wilson, Carolyn Nelson and the Ronald Sawyers. The James Jorgensons and Infant daughter who visited her grandparents, the Paul Wilsons. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans left Saturday for Salt Lake to attend the Testimonial Sunday for their son Deloy. Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs went to Cedar City Saturday to get acquainted with their new grandson, born to Duard and Donna Riggs; he has two brothers to welcome him home. Estella will stay there awhile to help out with the grandchildren. A birthday party was held Feb. 20 at the Ivor Riggs home in -honor of their son Brad's 7th birthday. His first grade class mates of Panguitch Elementary school were present. The Boyce Trumans of Panguitch visited the Riggs home Saturday to wish Brad a happy birthday. Grant Dalton was home over the weekend. The Gib Clarks of Kanab brought Spanish food and served a joint birthday dinner for her parents, Grant and Hope Dalton whose birthdays were on the 11 and 18th respectively. Hope and the Clarks met Grant at Tor-rey Friday night, where his pickup had broken down, they towed it to Panguitch to a garage. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans and Afton of New Castle visited in town Saturday. Afton stayed overnight with Jo Sawyer then accompanied the Gib Clarks to Kanab to .visit them this week.-Weekend visitors at the T. H. Sawyers were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Wooley of Orem. Sunday the Wooleys, Mr. and Mrs. Sawyer, the David and the Nile Sawyers toured to Glen Canyon Dam. , Mrs. Lamond Davis and children stayed at the Gale Wil-cocks over the weekend. Saturday Mrs. Melda Davis and Sherron of Cannonville and the Reed LeFevre children of Tropic visited the Davis at the Wilcocks, and the Cal Burrows family. Thursday visitors with the Jay. Duttons was the Grant Tebbs family of Panguitch; overnight visitors were the Kevin Lays of Marysvale. The Vay Sawyers and Jo Sawyer of Salt Lake visited over the weekend with their parents. Little Vaelyn returned back with them after a week's visit with her grandparents, the Arnold Sawyers; Vaelyn accompanied them to Nevada Sunday to visit the LaVal Sawyers. The Wayne Harris family of Glendale spent Sunday at the Max Haney home. Mrs. John i Mecham of Tropic was an overnight visitor Monday with the Oliver Hunt-ingtons. Mr. and Mrs! Mecham visited Friday with the David Sawyers. Saturday" visitors in Cedar were Jesse Wilson, the Karl Lowders, the Vay Sawyers, the Orson Barnhursts. Mr. and Mrs. Burrows attended funeral services Saturday at Milford for their cousin Zella Limb, Sunday they ac-companiedthe German Work-mans on a tour to Calif., they plan to visit (the Ray Burrows family at Sunnyvale while on the trip. The Kay Alexanders of Salt Lake visited Mrs. Effel Riggs. Weekend visitors at the Cloyd Campbells' were Mrs. Allen Taylor and baby boy and the Gary Faggs of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Layton Barney with Doris and Joyce left last week to visit in Montana' and to get Mrs. Elizabeth Barton of Tropic, who has been visiting there. Word was received by the Jesse Wilsons that they have another grandson born Feb. 19 in a Salt Lake hospital to Melvin and Helen Wilkes, he has two brothers and a sister to welcome him. Mrs. Garn Blackburn and children of Ordervllle visited her mother, Abble Fallis, on Sunday. Mrs. Philip. Robertson and baby of Alton visited the C. D. Campbells ' Monday. The Lyle Davis, family of Salt Lake visited a few days with-the; JesSC'-Wilsons.- .-- ' Stake visitors at Primary last week were Gwen Orton and Golda Julander. Effel Riggs left Monday for Nephl to visit the Jay Mickel-sens for. awhile. The Yan Barneys of Panguitch visited in town Saturday. Several of our ward members attended Stake Preparation for the Sunday School on Monday evening. |
