Show Classmates Gel Together '43 CLASS REUNION The graduating class of 1943 held its first reunion on Saturday, July 21, at Panguitch. Everyone brought his own picnic lunch and after meeting at the court house, all went to the Red Canyon picnic area. A good time was had visiting and renewing old acquaintances. Saturday evening completed the day with a meal at the Bryce Canyon Cafe and dancing in the Social Hall. Officers for next year were elected and the following positions were filled: president, Usher Junior Henrie; vice president, Lalne Norton; 2nd vice president, Layton Barney; secretary -treasurer, Helen Linford and Elda Tas-ker. A reunion is being planned for 1963 around the July 24th weekend. This will be the 20th year since graduation and it Is hoped that all of tho members of the 1943 graduation class will plan to attend, A book was awarded to ihft class member at the re union having the largest family. This was presented to Junior and Dorothy Henrie who have five boys and one girl. The following were here for the reunion: Darol and Beth (Huntington) Allredot Omaha, Nebraska; Walter and Elda (Myers) Tasker, Junior and Dorothy Henrie of Richfield; Mary (Hous- -ton) Simkins of Circleville; Wendell and Winifred Hatch of Henderson, Nevada; Lay-ton and Florence Barney of Hatch; Carroll and Dorothy (Evans) Adair of Kearns; Kile and Bonnie Bigelow, Marie (Excell) Veater, of Salt Lake; Tom and Dorothy Crosoy of Ogden; Frank and Mary Worthen of price; Ned and Melva Owens of Roy; Lalne and Dorothy (Roberts) Norton of Brlgham City; Bob and Helen (Seaman) Linford, James and Marba (Haycock) Sandberg, of Cedar City; local people who attended were Betty (Dickinson) Brown, Gloyd Owens, Verl and Dorothy (Smith) Davis, Harold and Winona (Roe) Sevy. |
