Show ' ; ',' I WANT MY WATER TURN J I have talked to two mem-1 bers of the West PangultchE Water Board and find that we I water owners In Panguitch City, who wish to raise a nice gaiden, shrubs and flowers with our lawns, to make our community seem more like a prosperous one, will get little cooperation from them. No greater injustice could be done to us, than their recent decision to take froml us eveiy oher week of ourwa-1 ter at this time of the year.l This is the month when ouri gardens are just beginning to j mature, and weekly watering is necessary for their production. We are not asking for wa-j ter that does not belong to us, but we do ask that We be treated equal to our farms. If necessary to cut from hours, then cut city hours, not take It from us. One hour each week Is of more-value to our gardens than two hours every other week. Gardens cannot survive two weeks without water. We cannot sit idley by and have our rights taken from us, and eventually lose them. One cannot do much alone. If you care enough to help, call the President of tho Board NOW this week and let him know how you feel. If your appeals are in vain, then let us get together, find what our rights are once and for all. We arc in hopes that the better way will be had, by the Board reconsidering and let us have our turn every week for the balance of this month at least. J. Wilford Roe |
