Show THE WORD FROM ROULDER I BY ALICE ALVEY Many friends and relatives attended the funeral services for Mrs. Emma Jane Alvey. .Sterling Alvey and Morrell Ormond left for Colorado after having been here for two or three weeks. Cathleen Alvey accompanied the Owen Wooley family back to Page. Ray L. Moosman stayed in town a few days after the funeral, his parents, the Lorln Moosmans went to Glen Canyon on the 24th with him and his family. Vilate Grlener's brother and wife, the Grant Taylors of Cedar spent a few days with her. Jim Haws and family visited with the Neal Jepscns and Leland and Otto Haws; they came for their son Jimmy who has been staying with Fred Jepsenfor several weeks. Richard Heaps and his family visited with sister Blom Ormond for several days, Blom's daughter Peggy went back up north with them for a short vacation. Gertrude Ormond had brother Raymond Ormond at her home for a few days. Bob Bennett and family of Calif, visited with her for a week or more recently Bill Stamey and wife and another couple, all from Collf. were visitors last week. Several Fish and Game men spent a day in Boulder last week. Some oi the men I walked down the Boulder H Creek on some business con- I nected with fish. Dr. Clino and two women associates spent an afternoon in Boul- der holding a mental health 9 meeting, Dr. Cline is from H State Mental Health Assn. affiliated with the U. of U. Ray Shurtz and wife and Harvey Liston and family jfl visited at the Pole Griffin home Sunday. The OttoIIaws jfl and Arthur Alvey attended jjf the horse races in Beaver on Ml tho 28th where Otto's mare took 3rd place. Ruby Orm- n ond spent a few days In Ly- M man with the Wallace Alvey m family. She attended a wed- I ding dance held for their son K Stanley who married Deena W Jackson of Loa on the 20th. The Vcrn Hansens spent a day in Panguitch, fe Boulder ladies held a baby shower for Elaine Roundy on ft the 27th. Cleo Reed Lyman celebrated his 13th birthday j on July 27th, Cleo Reed, his Sfr father Truman and Leland & Haws took up the time InSa-cramtnt meeting on tha 29th, speaking on geneology; Twl- I la Behunin and Gladys Hazel Lyman rendered a song.
