Mrs. Gene Blackmail and family of Eureka, Calif, brought the Chllders here last Thursday; Mrs. Delia By-bee Is also hero from Kanab. The George Workmans received word Aug. 11 from Mr. and Mrs. Pete Workman of Orem that they were proud parents of twins, a boy and a girt. Mrs. Osmyn Deuel was a visitor at Cedar City Friday. Tho Infant son of the Ray Burrows was given the namo Brett L. and a father's blessing in Testimonial meeting. Gale Wilcock attended a school for Fish and Game last week In Logan. Evan Wilcock returned home with his father after spending the summer in Salt Lake working. The county school board was here Monday moving the furniture from our school to Pangultch. Some men flew in from Mesa, Ariz. Saturday on mine business. Lamond Davis took care of Cedar Breaks over the weekend as his brother was ill. Gale Burrows of Kearnsis visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Burrows. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Larsen and son of Los Angeles are visiting her parents, the J. E. Rlggs. Dale and Diane Porter returned with them after visiting several weeks in Calif. Mrs. Julia Smith of Texas is visiting her mother Mrs Ab-ble Fallis, her two daughters spent the summer here. There was a two car collision on main street Frid. , the cars looked bad but there was no casualties. The Sam Evans family visited in La Verkin Sunday at the Gerald G if ford home. Gary Evans left for Salt Lake on Saturday to seek employment. Donnie Heap rode as far as Provo with him and Izola Wil- son to the City where she will bo employed. The Floyd Sawyers of Roy spent last week here. The T. II. Sawyers went with them as far as Orem where they visited the Leon Sawyers and attended their grandson Gale's wedding reception. Mrs. Sessie Clark of Ordervllle is visiting the Lynn Ev ans family. Visiting them for a few days was little Kevin Crofts of Pangultch, his mother Mrs. Delln Crofts and Kerry came Monday and took him home. Arnold Sawyer who is employed at Capitol Reef spent the weekend home. Velta. and Vaelyn Sawyer of Junction spent several days 1 here. The Jerry Andersons of Duchesne arc visiting Mrs. Sarah Porter. The Oscar Taylors visited for some time at Wayne County with his folks. Weekend visitors at the O. Huntington home were son Boyd of Frcdonia and Mary Ann Goulding of Pangu ten. |
