Show j 4-H Clubs Report I- The Happy Homcmakcrs ; We held our weekly meet- ing at the home of Linda Fae : Talbot on May 31st. We have J: all most completed hemming j; our dish towels and by next week we hope to start a new '. project. Our summer project : this year will be watering the j; plants on the Elem. school grounds. '' Reporter Elaine Farnsworth i 1 Pretty Paris Seamstresses I The Pretty Paris Seamstres- ses club held their meeting at $ the home of Mable Jean Nor- 1 ton. We judged our swimming J robes and worked on our 4 dresses. Carolyn Roberts and 1 Nancy LeBeau have moved. J Refreshments were served. J Reporter ? Dorothy Ann Proctor The Eight Cookies May 26th we met at Pamela Riggs. We made sugar cookies and drop nut cookies. Seven members present. The pledge led by Jan Peterson. June 2nd we met at Nlla Braithwaltes. We made molas-Ees cookies and chocolate drop 'cookies, a grape drink was served. Our cookies are turning out very well. We had one guest Janice Barney, 6 members present. Pledge by Olga McAllister. Reporter Mariann Henrie Faire (?) la Maison We met May 31 at Dorothy Sue Excell's home. Opening prayer by Pamela Henrie. A demonstration on the proper way to make a bed was given by Elaine Jensen and Dorothy Sue. Refreshments of cookies and ice cream were served. Closing prayer was by Mrs. Marilynn Veater. June 1 we met at Elaine Jensen's home. Opening prayer was by Dorothy Sue Excell, A peppermint dessert was served. The closing prayer was by Connie Davis. We held our 411 party June 3. We went swimming then cooked our supper at the Fair grounds. |
