Show THE WOKD FI10M BOULDER BY ALICE ALVEY One time of the year that Boulder's really popular is opening of fishing season. People from all over Utah como flocking in days before opening morning to be ready for the big thrill. Personally I wouldn't walk across the road for It. Most of the other women around ' ere seem to enjoy lt pretty well though. Quito a number of former Boulder people are here visiting relatives nd fishing. Melba Mathews and family of Provo are at the. home of her parents the Lorin Moosmans. LaRae Round and family at tho homo of Clyde and Irene King, she's visiting her sisters Jerry Shurtz and Margie Griffin as Irene's in Kanab with another daughter Ann Reynolds whose baby girl was born last week. Burnell Baker and family visited a few days with their daughter Lorraine Behunin and her new baby girl which Burnell had the privilege of giving a blessing and the name of Sharlenein Sacrament meeting. Bradley Alvey is visiting his grandparents the HeberPoul-sons. Mr. and Mrs. Virge Heaps of Orem and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Young and son are at the Burns Ormond home, I've had my sister Wanda Munk, two grandsons, her son Donald and his fiancee Sally Williams at my home for a few days. Oneta Shurtz, Richard Griffin's aunt of Garland, visited them for a few days. Sarah May Hansen and children aro visiting at the home of her father Ejh Coombs. Statewide construction has brought in heavy equipment and work is proceeding on tho pipe line. While hero they have consented to dig the septic tank and field drain for tho church bldg. A few day ago I received a check from Mrs. Thora Munson and husband, former Boulder res'd-cnts, for the church fund. Anna Leo Hansen is work-tr.g this summer in a Cedar City cafe and living with her sister Dclorcs and husband (continued on back page) BOULDER Sam Cook. Sandra Mae Lyman Is visiting her aunt Loya Gublcr of Santa Clara for a few weeks. Carter and Kay Ormond spent a day In Circle Cliffs and Burr Trail showing the scenery to several visitors from Calif, who were very pleased and took dozens of pictures. Gladys Hazel Lyman was sustained a teacher in the Sunday School In Sacrament meeting. We had a wonderful Testimony meeting. |
