Show Open House To Honor Aunt Annie Riggs On Her 88th Birthday Mrs. Annie C. Riggs (Aunt Annie) will celebrate her 88th birthday on Friday, June 9th, at an Open House in her honor at her home. Aunt Annie was born in Panguitch June 9, 1873, and has rcs'dcd here nil her life She married Guy Clark in 1890 at Panguitch, He died and she later married A. J. Riggs on July 3, 1906 at Panguitch; he died about 29 years ago. Aunt Ann'c was a nurse and midwife for many years, and has been active in church and community affairs. She how lives alone, keeps h?r own house and cares for 100 chickens. She takes care of her. flowers and small gard 'in, and keeps very busy making rugs and quilts. She is the mother of six children, four of whom are living: Mrs. Jasper (Altai Henderson, Cannonvillc; Mrs, V. R. (Indra) Johnson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. J. W (Gre-tha) Tubbs, Newport Reach, Calif.; Mayo Riggs, Panguitch. She also helped raiso Mr Riggs' six children, four fit whom are living: Mrs. W. C (Elfa) Tebbs, Panguitch W. Sears Jliggs, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Kenneth (Irene) Beck-strom, Mrs. Frank CEvadean) Sawins of South Gate, Calif. She raised three grandsons: Clark, Quin and Mayo McAllister.
