Show CANNONVILLE BY MAE TWIT CTI ELL Mr. and Mrs. Verl Palmer and family have recently visited with John Palmer and the Joe Hughes. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Dutton visited with their son Deloy and family over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Otha Henderson was in town over the weekend visiting friends and relatives. Fern Henderson is home after spending the winter with her daughter Lorna at Heber City, Lorna and Harold brought her home. Clele Fletcher has been nominated a trustee to the board of UEA $ week ago at the meeting in St. George. Ronald Twltchell has been in Salt Lake for a medical checkup. He had the cast removed from his right leg but Is unable to put all of his weight on it for another month. My two children Arjean, Douglas and I spent the week with my sister .Elva Shepard at Springville. Coming home 1 we had storm all the way until we got almost home and found it dry. I guess we Just don't live right. Mrs. Elva Clark is In Salt Lake with her children this week, she went to welcome a ! new granddaughter born to the Bob Bowels (Lynn) of that city. Mr. and Mrs. Arnell Burr ! are the parents of a baby boy. ; Word was received here of a baby boy born to .the Jay Thompsons, former Enid Henderson, who live In Idaho, the Thompsons have two other boys at home. June Nelson spent the week in Salt Lake attending Agricultural meetings. The Relief Society held Its annual 17th of March banquet and program Friday evening, the program was a musical sponsored by Laurie Holly. The Garfield Stake "So Dear To My Heart" program was held here Tuesday eve-. nlng. guest speaker was Irene McEwen of Panguitch. The program in Sacrament meeting Sunday was furnished by the Wilford Clark family; speakers were Gary, Deene, Ethel, Doyle and Wilford; a piano selection was given by' Tonya. Youth Fireside was held at the home of Rosemary Fletcher Sunday evening. |
