The program Is being planned through the cooperation of tho Panguitch Chamber of Commerce by a committee consisting of Russell Merrcll, supt of schools; Mr. Louis W. Hallock, Supt. of Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park, and Flora Bardwell, Extension Service, USU. Tho program is outlined as follows: Monday, April 10: What is the recreational development outlook for Southern Utah and the Lake Powell area and will feature guest speakers including James Eden of the Lake Powell development area, stationed at Glen Canyon. Tuesday, April 11: Discus sion of proposed road development in Southern Utah ar-' ea, and will feature speakers Wally Stevenson of the State Road Dept., Nethella Woolsey and Vernon Holman. Wednesday: Program conducted by Five County Org- anization, setting forth their goals and how through their programs development o f Southern Utah may be accom-. plished. Thursday: Panel discussion -by Wm. C Bruhn, featuring , business and educational interests, their plans and proposals for development Friday: featuring S. R. An-. dersonr member -of -Tourist-and Publicity Council of Utah State, this will be a dinner : meeting, with tickets being -1 sold by Chamber of Commerce members. Monday and Wednesday meetings will be at the Bryce Canyon, Visitors Center, Tuesday and Thursday meetings at the Panguitch Elementary School. Friday's banquet in . the Social Hall. AU meet'ngs begin at 7:30 p.m. People of the Southern Utah are invited to attend all meetings. , |
