Show xt ; t Funeral Services Held For,. Auto Wreck Victims ' Mrs. Mary D. Barton Mrs. Mary 0. Barton, 48, and Mrs. Hazel W. Orton, 02, were killed when the car in "which they were riding ran off Highway 89 about seven miles north of Kanab Sunday between 1 and 2 a.m. The women were returning from Kanab and apparently Mrs. Barton fell asleep while driving. The car left the road, traveled along the shoulder and in the barrow pit for 178 feet before striking a rock cliff. Both had been crushed against the dashboard. The bodies were discovered at 7 a.m. by Lloyd Robinson and son of Kanab. Mrs. Barton was born July 13. 1912 to George and Matilda Dutton at Cannonville She married Angus James Barton in Panguitch on June 13, 1932! he died on Dec. 23 1957 in Arizona. Survivors: 2 sons and daughter: Arthur. Mary Ann and Mark, of Panguitch; brothers, sisters: Oscar Dutton, Cedar City; Kendall and Julia Elmer, Cannonville; Emmer Twitchell, Jerome, Idaho; Belle Juddof Panguitch; Zeppa Fletcher of Layton. Hazel W. Orton Mrs. Orton was born Oct. 30, 1893 to George and Ellen Woodard in Panguitch. She married Lawrence Orton in Panguitch in 1917; he died in 1958. Survivors: sons and daughter: Donald, Garry, Bob, Brent, Donna Mae Orton, all of Panguitch; brothers, sisters: Deward, Mrs. Wilma Le-Fevre, of Panguitch; Hugh of Kanosh; Mrs. Mel Davis of Cliula Vista, Calif; half brothers and sisters: Don R. and Scott Robinson, Panguitch; Mrs. Hazel W. Orton Jack Robinson, Lchl; Mrs. Fausta Hill, Tooele; 13 grandchildren. Funeral services for Mary Barton were held Nov. 9th In the South Ward chapel at 11 a.m. and services for Hazel Orton at 3 p.m. in the North ward chapel. Mary Barton Services Prayer in home, H.
