Show BOULDER and took the mountain road. Otto Haws reports that the Forest Service range Improvement project on the Boulder mountain Is progressing rapidly. The fence from Bear Creek to Baker's pasture has been completed. The crew has also repaired the old drift fence between Boulder creek and Salt Gulch. Eight hundred acres above Salt Gulch have been plowed and planted, and aboutt 3500 acres (he thinks) have been seeded by airplane. Besides Mr. Haws, the work crew has Included Glen Orm-ond, Burnell Baker, LeFalr Ilall, and four men from Es-calante, Lovell Twltchell, Lo-rcll Munson, Lloyd Alvey and Darrell Alvey. No one seems to have had company this week. Visitors are probably waiting for deer season. Nina Moosman reports that twenty Californ-lans have already asked for hunting licenses. Glen and Ruby Ormond have planted a new front lawn this fall and are now giving their house a fresh coat of paint Looks nice. V Flora Baker and Vllate Grlener went to Panguitch on Tuesday.
