Show M flBB r TEBBS ADAMS An open house Friday evening honored newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Don L. Adams (Miss Janet Tebbs). The postnuptial event was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alden S. Adams, Salt Lake City, who also gave a wedding breakfast following the wedding ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 1 . Stanley D. Tebbs, Panguitch. The bridal couple recited nuptial vows Friday morning, March 20, In Salt Lake Temple. Elder Hugh B. Brown of .the Council of the Twelve officiated. The bridal gown was a mo- del .of lace and net, highlight-' ed with sequin and pearl trim. -The fitted bodice was styled with sabrina neckline and long ROBINSON ALLEN Bis?! Mr. and Mrs. Blake Robinson of Escalante announce the marriage of their daughter, Rhoda, to Joseph Lovell Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Berry Allen of Provo; the wedding took place March 19th at the Manti LDS temple. A reception was held that night in Sunset LDS ward. The bride wore a gown of white lace over satin ,with tapered sleeves and carried a bouquet of gardenias and roses. She was attended by Mrs. Juana Staples as matron of honor; Miss Ruth Robinson and Miss Loanna Ramsay as bridesmaids; Shelly Porter and Kay Lynn Staples were flower girls. Stanley Allen, brother of the groom, was best man. Rhoda jls a graduate of Es- I calante High School and Hen-agers business college and Is now employed as bookkeeper in Salt Lake City P. C. A. office. The ,groom has been attending school at the BYU, has filled an LDS mission to Argentina. Following a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, the just weds will make a home in Salt Lake City. Mr. Adams will continue studies at the U. of U. Prior to her marriage, the bride was honored at a shower given by Miss 'Maurine Orlob and at a trousseau tea hostessed by her mother In Panguitch. The groom Is the son of J. D. Ivie of Fillmore. Tha marriage was consumatcd Friday evening at the home of the bride's parent with Bishop Leland S. Haws officiating. Mont Ivie, brother of the groom, acted as best man. Both young people are students at Brigham Young University where Mr. Ivie will complete his pre-dental course in June. He expects tl continue his dental studies at an eastern school. Mr. Ivie performed a two-year mission In the central states for the LDS Church. Steele, son of Mrs. Nina II. Steele and the late Donald H. Steele, and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Melt Hatch. No defnlte wedding date has been set Carolin Is attending BYU, where she is active In several special groups of ballet, tap, and toe dance. She is a member of KIo Ora and Orchcsis social units. Before moving to Panguitch she was a member of the Boise Junior Follietts, a group of precision dancers who performed. In many cities and resorts In Idaho, dancing many solos. At Boise High School, she was a band majorette, a member of the A Cap-pella Choir, and played the organ at the State Capitol building each year for the .Christmas Cantata. Carolin hopes to start a dance school June 1 in Panguitch where she will teach toe, ballet, tap, and baton. Donald is a sophomore at BYU, where he is taking a course preparatory to entering Dental school. He Is a member of the BYU track team. He Is holder of the Utah State High School record in the 220 yard dash, a member of the 1957 State championship class basketball team, and was a top honor student in his high school graduating class and received an academic and athletic scholarship at BYU, |
