Show Two Sentenced Hartley Barney, 24, and Grant Worthen, 19, both of Panguitch, were sentenced to six months in jail Thursday and fined $299 each on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Both were charged with furnishing alcoholic toevera'ges to John LeRoy Joseph, 17, of Parowan, who was found dead in the back seat of a wrecked car on Jan. 5th. An autopsy revealed that Joseph, with a high concentra tion of alcohol in his bloodstream, had suffocated to death on his own vomit. Barney and Worthen entered guilty pleas before Judge Hermansen in Panguitch, who ruled that the final two months of the sentence would be suspended with payment of the fine within the first lour months. |
