Show TROPIC Elln Adnir Mrs. Annie Colvin is in the Panguitch hospital for medi-'cal attention. Sacrament meeting was un-,'der the direction of Alton Shakespear, representing Genealogy. Speakers were Elder James Clark of Cannonville, Elder and Mrs. Warren Fra-zier of Logan and Elder Samuel Pollock. Mr. and Mrs. Warren, and 'Lois Frazier and son are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ahlstrom. Mr. and Mrs Ilan Pollock .ire visiting in Salt Lake with their son DeVon and wife and getting acquainted with their first granddaughter born on June 26th. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mech-am are parents of a son born Juno 26th. Sonia Shakespear " celebrated her Gth birthday with a oarty on June 24th; Diane Clarke had her 10th birthday on July 1st. Ella Adair is attending the BVXJ. . .Gayla Jean Shakespear and Michael Wintch, who are employed at Grand Canyon, were home for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Wood- bury and sons and Hannah Wintch were weekend visitors at St. George. The Tropic Sheep Club held their first meeting of this year on June 7th, at the home of Earl Jolley. The following officers were elected: Henry Jolley, president; Lloyd Ott, -vice president; Larry Adair, secretary; Lynn Allen, reporter; and Garth LeFevre, song leader. Clifford SuathoJome celebrated his 13th birthday June 28th at the LeshV LeFevre home. The following friends were present: Gail Ott, Laura Mangum,"' Carol Shakespear, and Herbert Baugh. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Los-see were weekend visitors in town. Visiting at the Alton Shakespear home are their daughter Mrs. Darrel Sawyer and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Sorenson and son. A large crowd attended the wedding reception and dance for Mr. and Mrs. Dick Wobb which was held in the recreation hall Saturday evening. Many beautiful and useful presents were received by the newlyweds. ' |
