Show Panguitch High School News Coming up Is a Masquerade Hall to be held In the Social Halt on Oct. 30, Saturday night. Students with Studentbody cards will bo admitted free. Town people are urged to join In the fun of forgetting themselves for one light. Dress-up so people don't know you, nnd go be yourself. People may point, giggle, and poke their neighbor, but If no-lody knows who you are, It'i all the more fun. One of the Uncut orchestras in Southern I'tah, The Starllghters from Cedar City, will furnish the music, and prizes will be given for the best costumes. Officers chosen by the stu-.dents for the school year 1954-55 are as follows: Warren Eyre, the only married man In the Senior Class, is studentbody president. Vice President is Danny Tebbs, a Junior boy active In sports as well as school leadership. Studentbody secretary' for ti two year term Is Junior class i-iember Marbar Wilson, who hails from Hatch. Marba is picked by the Student Council Itself, on the basis of her abtl- Wan rii Ki-e Ity. and, of course, her popularity wltli the students. The Social Committee Is composed, supposedly, of three of the Senior Class' liveliest wires: Kathleen Church. Adele Iverson, nnd Dixie Davis. They have the Job of planning the recreational en I of our school work, and of ush-f ring at the ball games this winter. So far, they have done an exceptional Job. Cheerleaders who seem to have what It take to keep the ball boys happy are Seniors Mamie Hatch and Max-lne Orton, and Sophomore Marie Holm. Class Presidents are: Sheldon Talbot, Senior; Earl Henrle. Junior; Donald Steele, Sophomore; Sheridan Miller, Freshle; Max Proctor. Eighth grade, and Nate Tebbs, 7th. The school paper, the "Sentinel", editor Is Senior Elizabeth Ahlstroni. The school annual the "Argus', editor Is Junior Normai Hoesch. Sportsmanship committee chairman, School Historian, and Student Council, In that order are Norwood Pendle-ton.
