Show Jaycees Ask Your Help Panguitch, Utah I ' Dear Panguitch Booster: For some time there has been considerable discussion among various civic organizations, church organizations and the City Council, and probably you youreelt have discussed the need for improving our cemetery by landscaping and planting it to lawn. Every Ume we are called upon to attend the final resting place of our loved ones and friends, undoubtedly we return with a gloomy feeling after having walked through the dirt, dust and weeds, and thinking of the sad plight our cemetery is in. The Junior Chamber of Commerce is of the opinion that something can and must be done to correct this situation and have assumed the responsibility for directing the efforts of everyone to the ultimate goal of installing a sprinkling system and reseeding and landscaping the cemetery. Toward this end they have secured the services of a competent engineer and have a detailed plan for the installation of a permanent sprinkling system to operate by propane driven pump from the irrigation canal near the cemetery. The cost of such a system in its entirety is $5,283.00. The goal of the Junior Chamber of Commerce for this year's activity is to raise this amount to present to the cemetery committee from voluntary contributions and from social activities. Therefore, we are making our appeal to YOU at this time for your contribution in this most worthwhile endeavor. We ask that you send your contribution to the languitch Junior Chamber of Commerce Cemetery I- und. All monies so received will be deposited in a special account to be used only for the purpose of this improvement What finer contribution could we make than to transform our cemetery from its present forlorn condition to a place of beauty, where lawns, shrubs and flowers adorn the resting place of our beloved families and friends. Won't you assist us by mailing us your contribution today? Sincerely yours, PANGUITCH JUNIOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE W. Earl Roe, President |
