Merchant Morris Abramson and Mrs. Abramson returned Tuesday from a sojourn in tho east where Mr. Abramson went to make fall and winter purchases pur-chases for tho Golden Rule Store. They were In Chicago during tho race riots and tlio I strike troubles and found it very difficult in securing transportation transporta-tion (except walking) and they did plenty of that. They also visited St. Louis and other commercial com-mercial cities and had a very enjoyable trip. Miss Margaret Harned of Salt Lake City, was here a few days last week on a visit, being n guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. King and Miss Alllsa Manning. Sho returned to the state capital last Sunday Miss Harned came to this city from Kentucky several years ago and was at one time bookkeeper at the firm of Jensen Jen-sen "Bros., which wds managed by Joseph Jensen, who later moved to St. Anthony, Idaho.
